O ur 700 acres of forested property offer approximately 175 spacious trailer sites for your summer camping experience (April thru October). Sites have water and electric hookup. We do not provide septic service at your camp site, but we do have a dumping station for your use at no additional charge. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Shower and restroom facilities are centrally located.

We no longer offer short-term overnight/weekend camping. Our minimum stay is one month. The exception to this is for those renting a sleeping cabin or for groups (minimum of 20) camping at the Group Area.

Located at the entrance to the campground is our park office.

Our group camping area is ideal for scouts, church groups, or organizations who enjoy tent camping on a rolling wooded area with an open area for group activities. Cook on an open fire and enjoy the beauty of nature. You’ll be just a few feet away from the lake. An electric drop is centrally located in the area if needed, but there is no water service. You’ll be secluded, but not far from the many amenities of Cave Lake. You must have a minimum of 20 people in your group to rent this area.

Our facilities and services at Cave Lake are only available to those camping on our property or those people renting our sleeping cabins, Lakefront Room and/or Shelter Houses. Activities such as swimming, fishing, and boating are available to our registered guests.

A complete rate schedule is available for viewing. Pets are permitted but you should review our pet policy and pet registration form prior to arrival. Please note that starting January, 2010, each pet must be registered. You may also view our campground rules.

We do offer four sleeping cabins for rent. Each cabin sleeps four and includes a refrigerator and air conditioner. There are no cooking facilities, bathroom, or water in the cabins, but the showerhouse is nearby. Cabins are approximately 12' by 20' including a small front porch. Each has two sets of twin-size bunk beds, table and chairs. You will need to bring your own bed linens. Outside each cabin is a fire ring, picnic table, and charcoal grill. No pets are allowed in the cabins. There is a two-night minimum stay and reservations are required. Cabin rentals are for guests of our season campers ONLY.

If you have a large group, try one of our Shelter Houses for your next reunion or group outing. We have two shelters, one 30’ by 60’ accommodating about 200 persons and the other about 27’ by 45’ accommodating about 150 persons. They are conveniently located near activities such as basketball, tether ball, horseshoes, volleyball, and a ball field. Each is surrounded by beautiful trees providing ample shade and each has a large charcoal grill.

Our Lakefront Room is a facility you may also rent for your next group function, meeting, reunion, or family gathering. It features:

  • Food preparation/warming area
  • 3-compartment sink; hand sink
  • Refrigerator, freezer
  • Counter top for food setup/serving
  • Microwaves, convection oven, electrical outlets for crock pots etc.
  • Picnic area just steps from the door, plus inside dining for 30-40
  • Indoor restrooms at the building
  • Overlooks our 42-acre lake and beach area
  • Horseshoe pits, basketball and volleyball court, ball field nearby

Bring your own food and beverages or have it catered. No alcohol, smoking or pets permitted in the building. Reservations required.

We do not allow boats with gas-powered motors. Your personal canoe or boat (trolling motor only) can be used on the lake for a daily fee. Long-term campers must purchase an annual season boat permit to have their boat on the property for use on the lake.
